U. P. Athletics Association Affiliated to U. P. Olympic Association & Athletics Federation of India IMPORTANT DECISIONS Following decisions were unanimously approved & adopted by the General Council of U.P. Athletics Association, in its Annual General Council Meeting held at Lucknow on Sunday i.e. 1st November 2015. 1. Resolution: a) It is resolved by the General Council of U.P. Athletics Association that the accounting year of U. P. Athletics Association shall be Calendar year (1st January to 31st December) with immediate effect. This is in accordance with the rules & regulations of Athletics Federation of India. b) It was also passed and unanimously adopted that current accounting year will be termed from 1st July 2015 till 31st December 2016 (of eighteen {18} months) as a very special case, only for this year in consideration. 2. Discipline: Following athletes of Meerut District have been debarred from any Athletics activities for next TWO years w.e.f. 1st November 2015. It was decided to inform AFI / U.P. Sports Directorate and all affiliated units for its implementation. 1. Shubham Chaudhary (13.07.1997) S/O Sri Braj Pal Event 400m. (Bib no. 567) 2. Pankaj Sirohi (01.03.1996) S/O Sri Atter Singh Event 800m. (Bib no. 569) 3. Anshul Kumar (11.12.2000) S/O Sri Suresh Pal Event 1,000m. (Bib no.592) 4. Manish (02.08.2000) S/O Sri Rishi Pal Event 1,000m. (Bib no. 593) 3. It was decided to allot the organization of 49th U. P. State Annual Cross-Country Championships 2015 to DAA Mathura. This State Cross Country Championships shall be organized on 20th December 2015 by District Athletics Association MATHURA. 4. Following State Athletics events, of the year 2016 were allotted to the units mentioned against each Championships. i. 24th U.P. State Annual Athletics Championships 2016- DAA Aligarh. ii. 10th Dr. Bharat Attri Memorial U. P. Athletics Day 2015- DAA Aligarh. iii. 50th U.P. State Annual Athletics Championships 2016- DAA Lucknow. iv. 50th U.P. State Annual Cross-Country Championships 2016- DAA Fatehpur. The Hony Secretary was authorized to decide the dates of these Championships in accordance with AFI Calendar and coordinate with the host units for successful conduct of the State Championships. 5. Following District Associations did not enter and participate in 13th National Inter District Athletics Meet 2015 held in Vishakhapatnam from 5th to 7th September 2015. It was decided and adopted to take necessary action in accordance with the decision & guidelines of AFI. The DAAs are: (1)AGRA. (2) ALLAHABAD. (3) AURIYA. (4) BADAUN. (5) BANDA. (6) BIJNORE. Olympic Association & Athletics Federation of India IMPORTANT DECISIONS Contd. 6. Following District Associations were granted Temporary Affiliation with immediate effect. The affiliation of these District Association with UPAA will be in accordance with the rules and regulations of UP Athletics Association. The new Districts are: (1) CHANDAULI (2) HATHRAS (3) HAPUR (4) SAMBHAL. 7. Following decisions were taken with regard to conduct of the State Championships. i. The participating teams will be provided only place of Stay during State Championships. Team Management will be required to manage the Food arrangements of their participants by themselves. ii. The entry in State Championships will be accepted only of those Districts, who have organized their District/Unit Championships. iii. The entry in State Championships will be accepted only of those District Associations/Units, who sent their entries minimum TEN DAYS before the start of the Championships. iv. The entry of Athletes in State Championships from various affiliated Units/Districts will be accepted only of those athletes who qualify the minimum standards of performance for entry. v. The Participation Certificate in the State Championships, will be issued to the Athletes on actual participation and also those who participate in their events & meet the minimum standards of performance fixed by UPAA. vi. The Events & Minimum standards of participation will be declared in the beginning of calendar year. 8. It was decided to hold the STO examination (State Technical Officials) as per following schedule: i. In Lucknow (by DAA Lucknow) on 29th November 2015. ii. In Kanpur (by CSJM University, Kanpur) on 6th December 2015. 9. Athletics Federation of India (AFI) has allotted following National / International Championships to Uttar Pradesh AA. It was decided to host these Championships in GGS Sports College Lucknow.  SAF (South Asian Federation) Youth Athletics Championships 2016  56th National Open Athletics Championships 2016. The Hony President & Hony Secretary are authorized by the General Council to decide the modalities of the successful organization of these Championships. 10. The Marathon / Cross Country Races / Road Races or any Athletics Championships must be organized with due permission of the District / State Athletics Associations and Athletics Federation of India. Standard defined rules will be applicable to host these Championships on the basis of the level of the Championships. 11. Athletics Federation of India will issue the Identification Cards to all the Athletes at entry level. (During National Inter District Meet and National Junior Athletics Championships). It imperative that District Associations send their Athletes with their original Date of Birth Certificates during the said Championships. These decisions have been approved and adopted by the General Council of U.P. Athletics Association in its �Annual General Council Meeting� held in Lucknow on Sunday i.e. 1st November 2015.
