1. GROUPS * DISTANCE of HALF MARATHON ROAD RACES:

               

MEN’s RACE: HALF MARATHON                         

WOMEN’s RACE: HALF MARATHON.

 

START of Race will be from PARTAWAL BAZAR & FINISH will be at PANIYARA Maharajganj.

Partawal Bazar is situated at a distance of 30 Kms. from Gorakhpur on Gorakhpur – Maharajganj road.  

2. RULES: The Championship will be organised in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of “Indian Athletics Manual” and will be held under the auspices of U. P. Athletics Association & DAA Maharajganj. The event will be organised on artificial surface (including tar road) and has only One Loop for the organisation of both Races.

4. ENTRY:

ü The entry is open to Men & Women category of Athletes

ü The Minimum age of entry is 18 years. The athletes below 18 years will not be allowed to enter in the Championship.

ü The Athletes, who are medically fit, shall only be allowed to enter in this Championships. In case of any untoward incidence the responsibility will be of the individual participants. In other words the participants will enter in this Championship on their own risk and Organisers will not be held responsible for any damage of any kind.

6. CHAMPIONSHIPS, PRIZES & AWARDS:

            PRIZES.

v CASH & Other PRIZES: Best Ten Athletes will be awarded Cash Prizes.

Ist – Rs. 15000, IInd – Rs. 7000, IIIrd – Rs. 5000, IVth – Rs. 3000, Vth – Rs. 2000 & VIth to Xth – Rs. 1000 each

Next 25 winners – Track Suits & Next 50 winners – T-Shirt.

v CONSOLATION PRIZES: Next Best Ten Athletes will be suitably awarded.

Rs. To each with Track Suit.

T-Shirt to all the participants who finish the Race.

CERTIFICATES:                   

v BEST TEN INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES will be awarded “DIPLOMA CERTIFICATE” in each RACE.

v The ATHLTES who actually participate and Finish the races will be awarded “SOUVENIR CERTIFICATE” in both RACES.

8. LAST DATE of ENTRIES: The last date of entries is 21st November 2014.

9. BIB NUMBERS: The Bib Numbers to the participants shall be issued from 10.00 hrs to 18.00 hrs. on 21st November 2014 at the Office of Organising Committee in Partawal (Maharajganj) Please note that Bib Numbers will NOT be issued on 22nd November 2014 in whatsoever circumstances it may be.

10. PROGRAMME: 

22.11.2014 09.30 hrs.: ASSEMBLY of the PARTICIPANTS at PARTAWAL BAZAR.

Saturday 09.45 hrs.: INUGURATION & OPENING CEREMONY.

                                    10.00 hrs.: START of the WOMEN’s RACE.

                                    12.00 hrs.: START of the MEN’s RACE

                                    14.30 hrs.: PRIZE DISTRIBUTION & CLOSING FUNCTION at PANIYARA
