48^th U.P. STATE ANNUAL ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2014

26^th  &  27^th  APRIL  2014  {SATURDAY & SUNDAY}.

(for Junior Men & Women – below 20 years, Boys & Girls below 18 years) is being organized by D.A.A. (District Athletics Association) Ghaziabad under the auspices of U. P. Athletics Association on 26^th & 27^th April 2014. The details of the Championships are given below:

CHAMPIONSHIPS:        48^th  U. P. STATE  ANNUAL  ATHLETICS  CHAMPIONSHIPS  2014.

DATE :                         26^th  &  27^th  APRIL  2014  {SATURDAY & SUNDAY}.

VENUE:                        GHAZIABAD.

GROUPS & EVENTS:    Junior MEN &  Junior WOMEN (both below 20 years), Boys & Girls (YOUTH) (Both below 18 years)  The list of events is enclosed.

TECHNICAL:                 This State Championship will be organised in accordance with the Rules & Regulations of Athletics Federation of India. In case of any dispute the decision of the UPAA Technical Committee will be final and abiding on all.

PRIZES:                       MEDALS & MERIT CERTIFICATES to each winner.

TROPHIES for TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS & BEST ATHLETE in ALL the GROUPS.

PARTICIPATION:          Only affiliated Units of UPAA and registered Athletes will be allowed to enter.

ENTRIES:                     The “ENTRY” will be accepted ONLY in the enclosed “Entry-Form”, duly signed by the Secretary of the UNITS. REPEAT: SIGNED by the SECRETARY of the affiliated UNITS Only. This Entry-Form must reach to undersigned by 23^rd April 2014 (Wed.day).

                                    The information of the Teams strength and arrival program must be sent to Mrs. MUDRIKA PATHAK, the Meet Manager  at Sports Stadium, GHAZIABAD (U.P.)

PLACE of STAY:          The unfurnished accommodation will be available at the various Guest Houses/Schools/ Dharamshalas near Stadium. The teams are requested to report at “Sports Stadium”, in the evening of 25^th April  2014 and not before that. The place of stay will be available up to late evening of 27^th April 2014.  Since the climate at Ghaziabad may be hot & humid, the participants are requested to bring the “Bedding” etc. for their comfort.

BIB  NUMBERS:           The Bib numbers to the bonafide Entries will be issued at 6.00 p.m. on 25^th April  2014 at “Sports Stadium” Ghaziabad. The Competition Fees of Rupees One Hundred per athlete will be collected at the time of distribution of Bib numbers.

FLAGS:                        Please bring or send Two FLAGS of your unit for ceremonial purposes.

PROGRAMME:             26/04/2014        8.00 am:                       INUGURATION CEREMONY.

                                                            8.30 am to 5.00 pm:      Track & Field events.    

27/04/2014        6.00 am to 2.00 pm:     Track & Field events.

2.30 pm:                       PRIZE DISTRIBUTION & CLOSING FUNCTION.

IMPORTANT:                The “ENTRIES” will not be accepted without the approval and signatures of the Secretary of the affiliated DAA/Unit in any circumstances whatsoever it may be.
