FSTO  EXAMINATION in UTTRA PRADESH

Venue:                       Madan Mohan Malviya Sports Stadium, ALLAHABAD

Eligibility for the Candidates

Qualification (Minimum):   Higher Secondary.

Officiating Examinations:   Must be passed at least DTO (District Technical Officials) Examination. The Candidates who have qualified STO (State Technical Official’s) Examination will be given extra privilege.

Age:                                        Below 45 years

Athletics proficiency:           1,000mts. Race Walk/Run – must complete within 7 minutes.

Examination Fees:              Rupees One Thousand only

                                                Draft (Rupees 500/-) in favour of Athletics Federation of India

payable at New Delhi. Remaining amount shall be deposited in cash with the Examination Convener.

Examination procedure:

                                                Duration:                               Three Days

                                                Seminar:                                Two Days.

                                                Practical / Viva-Voce:          Any time within three days.

Theory:                                   Two hours (from 0900 to 1100 hrs.) on Day “3” of the examination.

                                                Scoring pattern:                    Practical etc. - Max.:  100 marks                                                                                                    Theory - Max.:             100 marks.

                                                Qualifying standards:          Minimum 75 %

The candidates are required to bring Passports Size Coloured Photograph and Date of Birth Certificate for filling the Registration Form.  

FSTO  EXAMINATION

Rules & Regulations:

1. The AFI Examination Committee will hold the FSTO examination through its Chairman Dr. Kripal Singh.
2. The FSTO Examination will be organized under the authority of Athletics Federation of India.
3. The Syllabus of the Examination will be the “IAAF Competition Rules 2013-2014.
4. The arrangements for holding the Theory & Practical examination will be made by the host State Athletics Association through its Secretary.
5. Shri R. K. Pillai is nominated as “AFI Observer / Examiner” by the AFI  Examination Committee. He will be entitled for 2^nd AC Rail fare from his place of stay to the venue of the Examination & back, local hospitality and DA at the rate of Rupees Five Hundred for Four days. The responsibility of TA, DA and Local hospitality will be of the host State Association.
6. The “Shri R. K. Pillai the AFI Observer / Examiner”  shall be overall in charge of Seminar, Practical & Theory examinations during three days with the help of Local lecturers & examiners.
7. The arrangements of holding the Examination will be made by the Host State Association. The Tea, snacks and Lunch to the participants and officials shall be provided by the Host State Association.
8. The Registration form issued by the Examination Committee will be filled on 1^st day of the Examination during “Registration of Candidates”. Forms may be collected from Mr. Mohd. Rustam Khan from the MMM Sports Stadium.
9. The Examination fees shall be deposited with the Secretary of Host State Athletics Association during the registration on day “1”.

11. The day-to-day developments of the Seminar/Examination shall be informed to the Chairman AFI Examination Committee, Dr. Kripal Singh (Mobile: 9336331090 & 0512 – 2583535).
12. The Theory papers will be carried by the “AFI Observer / Examiner”, who will have total control of its opening in the Examination Hall during written examination and also sending it to the Chairman Examination Committee.
13. The written examination of two hours will be organized from 09.00 hrs to 11.00 hrs on third day of the FSTO examination.
