“27^th U. P. STATE OPEN ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019” (For Men & Women) shall be organized by District Athletics Association, Allahabad & Athletics, Kanpur, as per following details:  

CHAMPIONSHIPS:        27^th U. P. STATE OPEN  ATHLETICS  CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019.

DATE :                         23^rd and 24^th & 25^th MAY 2019, (Thursday, Friday & Saturday)

VENUE:                        23.05.2019 – Madan Mohan Malviya Stadium, ALLAHABAD.

                                    24.05.2019 & 25.05.2019 – O.E.F. Stadium, KANPUR.

GROUPS & EVENTS:    The list of Groups and Events are given below:

MEN & WOMEN (Not below 16 years) * Athletes born before 1^st JANUARY 2004

MEN: 100m., 200m., 400m., 800m., 1500m., 5000m., 10,000m. 110m. Hurdles (1.067 m.), 400m. Hurdles (0.914 m.), 3000m. Steeplechase (0.914 m.), High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put (7.260kg.), Discus Throw (2.000kg.), Hammer Throw (7.260kg.), Javelin Throw (800g.), 4x100m.Relay & 4x400m. Relay = Total 20 events.

WOMEN: 100m., 200m., 400m., 800m., 1500m., 5000m., 10000m., 100m. Hurdles (0.838 m.), 400m. Hurdles (0.762 m.), 3000m. Steeplechase (0.762 m.), High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put (4.000kg.), Discus Throw (1.000kg.), Hammer Throw (4.000kg.), Javelin Throw (600g.), 4x100m.Relay & 4x400m. Relay = Total 20 events.

TECHNICAL:                 This State Championship will be organised in accordance with the Rules & Regulations of Athletics Federation of India and IAAF * Competition Rules 2018-2019 with latest IAAF amendments implemented on 11^th March 2019. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Organising Committee / UPAA Technical Committee will be final and abiding on all.

PRIZES:                       MERIT CERTIFICATES & MEDALS to each first three winners.

TROPHIES for TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS– For MEN & WOMEN Groups & OVERALL.

BEST ATHLETE in MEN & WOMEN Groups.

PARTICIPATION:          Only affiliated Units of UPAA and registered Athletes will be allowed to enter.

ENTRIES:                     The “ENTRY” will be accepted ONLY ON-LINE, duly verified by the Secretary of the District Associations/UNITS. REPEAT: APPROVED by the SECRETARY of the affiliated UNITS Only.  Last date of sending ON-LINE Entry is on Tuesday i.e. 21^st MAY 2019.

AGE * DATE of BIRTH: The Senior Athletes (Men & Women) who are born prior to 1^st January 2004 are only eligible to enter in this State Championships.

FLAGS:                        Please bring or send Two FLAGS of your unit for ceremonial purposes

PLACE OF STAY:         The District Teams will only be allowed to participate in this Championships, if they provide their entries latest by 21^st May 2019 and they only will be provided, place of stay very near to the Stadium. The District Secretaries are requested to send the information of their team strength (Team Officials, Male & Female Athletes separately) to Sri Rustam Khan (9415351506) at Allahabad and Dr. Devesh Dubey (9336111929) at Kanpur latest by 21^st May 2019. Please be informed that the only LODGING will be provided by the Organisers and MEALS will have to be arranged by the Team Management, during their stay at Allahabad & at Kanpur.
