“26^th U. P. STATE OPEN ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2018” is being organized by District Athletics Association MEERUT now on 28^th & 29^th May 2018. The details of Championships are as follows:

CHAMPIONSHIPS:        26^th  U. P. STATE OPEN ATHLETICS  CHAMPIONSHIPS  2018.

DATE :                          28^th  &  29^th  MAY  2018  { MONDAY & TUESDAY}.

VENUE:                        KAILASH PRAKASH STADIUM, SAKET,  MEERUT (U.P.).

GROUPS & EVENTS:    (1) MEN,   (2) WOMEN   - The list of events is enclosed herewith.

TECHNICAL:                 This State Championship will be organised in accordance with the Rules & Regulations of Athletics Federation of India. In case of any dispute the decision of the UPAA Technical Committee will be final and abiding on all. Please see the Rules & Regulations carefully.

PRIZES:                        MEDALS & DIPLOMA (MERIT) CERTIFICATES to each Medal winner.

TROPHIES for TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS & BEST ATHLETE in EACH GROUP.

PARTICIPATION:          Only affiliated Units of UPAA and registered Athletes will be allowed to enter.

ENTRIES:                     The athletes who qualify the minimum standards fixed by UPAA will be allowed to enter. The “ENTRY” will be accepted ONLY in ON-LINE system. The “Entry”, can be duly filled on the Web-Site of UPAA by the Secretary of the UNITS latest by Friday i.e. 25^th MAY 2018.. REPEAT: by  the SECRETARY of the affiliated UNITS Only.

                                    The information of the Teams strength and arrival/departure schedule must be sent to undersigned latest by 25^th May 2017 (Friday).

PLACE of STAY:           The unfurnished accommodation will be available near Kailash Prakash Sports Stadium MEERUT. The teams are requested to report at K.P. Sports Stadium Meerut, in the morning of 28^th May 2018 and not before that. The place of stay will be available up to evening of 29^th May 2018. Since the climate at MEERUT may be very hot & humid during the Championship, the participants are requested to bring “Bedding” etc. for their comfort.

BIB  NUMBERS:            The Bib numbers to the bonafide Entries will be issued at 6.00 a.m. on 28th May 2018 in the office of the K.P. Sports Stadium, MEERUT. The Competition Fees of Rupees One Hundred per athlete will be collected at the time of distribution of Bib numbers.

FLAGS:                        Please bring or send Two FLAGS of your unit for ceremonial purposes.

IMPORTANT:                The “ENTRIES” will not be accepted without the approval and signatures of the Secretary of the affiliated DAA/Unit in any circumstances whatsoever it may be.
