49^th U.P. STATE ANNUAL ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015

“49^th U.P. STATE ANNUAL ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015”, (For Junior Men & Junior Women - below 20 years, Boys  & Girls - below 18 16 & 14 years) is being organized on 12^th & 13^th September 2015.  The details of the Championships are given below:

CHAMPIONSHIPS:       49^th  U. P. STATE  ANNUAL  ATHLETICS  CHAMPIONSHIPS  2015.

DATE :                         12^th & 13^th September 2015  {Saturday & Sunday}.

VENUE:                        ATHLETICS STADIUM, Guru Gobind Singh Sports College, Kursi Road,  LUCKNOW.

GROUPS & EVENTS:   The list of GROUPS & EVENTS is enclosed in the Rules – Technical Conduct.

TECHNICAL:               This State Championship will be organised in accordance with the Rules & Regulations of Athletics Federation of India. In case of any dispute the decision of the UPAA Technical Committee will be final and abiding on all.

PRIZES:                       MERIT CERTIFICATES to each winner.

TROPHIES for TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS & BEST ATHLETE in ALL GROUPS.

PARTICIPATION:         Only affiliated Units of UPAA and registered Athletes will be allowed to enter.

ENTRIES:                    The “ENTRY” will be accepted ONLY in the enclosed “Entry-Form”, duly signed by the Secretary of the UNITS. REPEAT: SIGNED by the SECRETARY of the affiliated UNITS Only. The Entry-Form must reach to undersigned latest by 8^th September 2015 (Tuesday).

                                    The information of the Teams strength and arrival program must be sent to Sri B. Ram Varun  the Organising Secretary  at Lucknow (U.P.)

PLACE of STAY:         The unfurnished accommodation will be available at the GGS Sports College Campus. The teams are requested to report at “Sports College, Lucknow”, in the evening of 11^th September 2015 and not before that. The place of stay will be available up to late evening of 13^th September 2015.  Since the climate at Lucknow may be hot & humid, the participants are requested to bring the “Bedding” etc. for their comfort.

BIB  NUMBERS:          The Bib numbers to the bonafide Entries will be issued at 5.00 p.m. on 11^th September 2015 at Conference Room of Sports College Lucknow. The Competition Fees of Rupees One Hundred per athlete will be collected at the time of distribution of Bib numbers.

FLAGS:                        Please bring or send Two FLAGS of your unit for ceremonial purposes.

PROGRAMME:            12/09/2015        8.00 am:                       INUGURATION CEREMONY.

                                                            6.00 am to 6.00 pm:      Track & Field events.   

13/09/2015        5.30 am to 4.00 pm:     Track & Field events.

4.15 pm:                       PRIZE DISTRIBUTION & CLOSING FUNCTION.

IMPORTANT:               The “ENTRIES” will not be accepted without the approval and signatures of the Secretary of the affiliated DAA/Unit in any circumstances whatsoever it may be.

1.     The “49^th U. P. State Annual Athletics Championships 2015” is being organised at Guru Gobind Singh Sports College, Kursi Road LUCKNOW on 12^th & 13^th September 2015. (Circular is already sent to you with previous notification). Few important points are mentioned here again:

A.    Due to unavoidable reasons, following events now would be organised on 11^th September 2015 at Madan Mohan Malviya Stadium ALLAHABAD.

                                               i.          Junior Men: 110m. Hurdles, 400m. Hurdles, 3,000m. Steeple Chase, Pole Vault & Hammer throw. = 5 events.

                                              ii.          Boys (18 years): 110m. Hurdles, 400m. Hurdles, 2,000m. Steeple Chase, Pole Vault & Hammer throw. = 5 events.

                                            iii.          Boys (16 years): 100m. Hurdles & Hammer throw.= 2 events.

                                            iv.          Junior Women: 100m. Hurdles, 400m. Hurdles, 2,000m. Steeple Chase, Pole Vault & Hammer throw. = 5 events.

                                             v.          Girls (18 years): 100m. Hurdles, 400m. Hurdles, 2,000m. Steeple Chase, Pole Vault & Hammer throw. = 5 events.

                                            vi.          Girls (16 years): 100m. Hurdles. = 1 event.

B.    The athletes of your District/Unit who are entered in above mentioned events, are required to reach Madan Mohan Malviya Stadium, Company Bagh, Allahabad latest by 07.00 hrs. on 11^th September 2015 and report to Mr. Rustam Khan, the Joint Secretary UPAA.

All other rules & regulations will remain the same for hosting these events at Allahabad
