WOMEN ATHLETICS TECHNICAL OFFICIALS- 2010

On the advise of Dr.L.K.Bhanot, Secretary, Federation of India, The Federation Examination Committee was conducted National Women Athletics Technical Officials  Examination- 2010 on April.17 & 18, 2010 at C.W.O.C. office building New Delhi. The examination was conducted under the lectureship and supervision of Mr.C.K.Valson which was assisted by Dr.Tony Daniel and Mr.Ravinder Chaudhary. The 85 women candidates all over the country were appeared in this examination and the following result of this examination was approved by the Federation Secretary and declared with  decision that the first 35 merit listed candidates will be considered selected in first phase and after that 25 candidates categorized as Reserved and rest 25 candidates were listed as in Waiting List from the following results basis as they were secured marks of merit basis. The Reserved and Waiting candidates will be considered in second and third phases will be called when it is required in future.

Coimbatore:- On the first day of the championship Sangeeta Yadav won silver medal in 800m Girls-18 with the timings of 2:19.62 sec. In heats she finish with 2:24.56 sec. Susheel Kumar Tripathi who was the best athlete in state championship won Bronze medal with the distance of 51.70m.That was his sixth attempt. Chiranjiv Narayan Singh finish 5th with 48.41m.Shakti Singh finish 6th with 46.72m  Sanjay Kumar Yadav & Satya Prakash finish 7th & 8th in 800m finaL.Pooja Singh jumped 4.46m and finish 11th. Poonam Singh was 5th in 3000m with time 11:53.74 sec.

Meerut: 29th March 2010:As per Chairman Technical Committee M.C.Ghosh Meerut FSTO examination created history in Indian athletics examination program. More than 165 candidates from all over state was appeared in this exam. In 165 candidates more than 45 candidates was women candidates. Chairman UPAA Sri Ashutosh Bhalla, Treasurer Sri A.K. Gupta, Sr Vice President Sri S.P.Deshwal, Principal Delhi Public School Smt Meenu Kanwar were available in this exam. As per Chairman Technical Committee Examination Dr Kripal Singh, result of this exam will announce very soon over UPAA website.

Kanpur 14th March 2010:-As per Hony Secretary UPAA Sri P.K.Srivasatva the Federation Examination Committee of Athletics Federation of India has given permission to conduct the Federation State Technical Officials Examination at Meerut on March 27 & 28, 2010. The U.P. Athletics Association is conducting  this examination at Delhi Public School on above mentioned dates. This examination is going to be organized in all states of the country for the preparation of Athletics Technical conduct for forth coming Commonwealth Games- 2010 of New Delhi.
